The Meinl Artisan Edition Cantina Line Cajon features adjustable strings and an extra thick wooden sound port ring for bass compression. This ensures a wide dynamic range of highs and lows. Its two sets of six micro-coiled, metal strings produce a snapping snare effect, and are adjustable with the included tuning key. These strings are hand-wound in the style of master cajon builder, Jose 'Pepote' Hernandez Diaz, and respond with the utmost sensitivity during performance. The Cajon's tremendous resonance is thanks to the body of 9-ply, 12mm-thick Baltic Birch wood, offering full, punchy tones that project with clarity and true warmth. Available with either Walnut or Limba frontplates, this Limba edition imparts a touch of sophistication to the overall package.
